Not only do we offer emergency services but general cleanings as well. Our most used commercial service is carpet cleaning. Carpets should be cleaned every six to twelve months. Beyond that we offer sanitation services, general cleaning services, and HVAC Duct cleaning services. If your office is affected by COVID 19 or any other contagious illness our sanitation services will come in handy. HVAC systems should be looked at and thoroughly cleaned at least every three to five years. Clean air benefits everyone! Cubicle Cleaning!

Recently we completed a cubicle cleaning for a commercial client of ours! They had tried to do it themselves and there seemed to be some sort of chemical reaction between the cleaning product and the cubicle itself leaving some yellow staining. When we approached the situation we tried our own chemicals and rinsed the cubicle and were left with that same staining until rinsed a second time! While this way would have worked most of the stains were coffee and related beverages and such so we took a different approach. We steam cleaned the cubicles with some hot water and suction and the stains were removed with ease! After they dried they looked almost new with the exception of some large ink stains that will be taken care of at a later date! Dirty Ducts

I am sure that you change your air filters every three months but when was the last time you physically looked inside of the duct work flowing through your building? Probably never. Sprinkler System Leaks

Most commercial buildings have fire sprinkler systems. If the sprinkler heads are exposed, there is a risk of them being knocked and broken resulting in a shower of water raining down inside your business. But there are other ways that a fire sprinkler system can lead to leaks and commercial water damage. The fire sprinkler system usually consists of a large pipe that then feeds into smaller pipes which lead to the sprinkler heads. All of these pipes running throughout your business can be prone to damage over time due to the elements and the water inside the pipes. If you notice a pinhole leak from one of the sprinkler pipes, you will want to get that fixed before the hole gets bigger and the water damage gets worse. You also want to be aware of the temperature inside your building during the cold, winter months. These pipes can easily freeze and burst if a door or window is left open. It’s always a good idea to check all the doors and windows before leaving the building for the night.

Limited Business Interruption

No one person can tell you when it is going to rain. I am sure many people can say that they would love to be a meteorologist and be wrong 95% of the time and still have a good paying job. But the fact of the matter is when storms roll through, no one truly knows how bad they will be, how much rain or wind we will get, and that damage can happen faster than ever expected. 

A previous job for example; a commercial client of SERVPRO of Salem County called due to a roof being opened, which was in the process of being repaired, and the storms rolled through dumping rain inside their supply counter warehouse. Not only did the storm damage the product for sale, which was then deemed waterlogged and had to be disposed of, but with the winds brought roofing material, dirt, and other airborne particles inside and covered all their consumables. 

The team here at SERVPRO of Salem County quickly responded in less than 1 hour from the time they called to do an initial walk through.

The biggest concern of the Operations Officer was making sure they had Limited Business Interruption. That is our number one factor when working with any commercial client. Limited Business Interruption. So, the job was completed around the client’s business hours. The final walk through was completed at 7am, just 2 days after work was started, when the supply counter open for business. 0 hours of business interruption.

Pennsville Township joins the SERVPRO Emergency Ready Profile

After working with Pennsville Township SERVPRO offered the Emergency Ready Profile to Township Committee. The Township Committee thought it was a great opportunity and agreed to join the ERP Program!

SERVPRO of Salem County will work with the Emergency Management Coordinator to walk through the building photographing water and gas shut off valves, take pictures of all important building material, created a detailed sketch of the building, as well as made all contingency plans already put in place all accessible in one place for the Township. 

In the event of an emergency time is money. Being able to stop a broken pipe due to knowning where the shut off valve is via the phone app can help mitigate any property damage. If a fire breaks out having all of your account numbers for each provider accessible to just click is much easier than trying to figure out passwords that were stored on your computer.
